Digital Production Work from Studio

Starting in 2002 my fifth-year architectural design studio has been experimenting with the use of film language to design and communicate architecture. We all understand the structure of film and how narrative, light, motion, sound, etc. can offer an immersive experience of a place, time and space. If we use this knowledge and apply it to our architecture can we form a new immersion and understanding of our architecture?

Recently, we have been using digital special effects to add to the work a stronger connection to a place and time along with a sense of atmosphere.

These films represent that work_
