To join The Plot Club see your studio representative. Membership is $10.00 per semester. There is a $5.00 re-activation fee if your account is deactivated.
Print Costs
Hp LaserJet 5000 = free with membership (black & white 8.5x11 and 11x17)
Xerox Phaser 7760 = $1.00 11x17 (loaded with high quality paper)Hp DesignJet 1050c – Black Line on bond paper = $2.00** (per 24x36)
Color on bond paper = $4.00 (per 24x36)
Uses a 36” wide rollHp DesignJet 500PS – Presentation Bond Paper = $5.00 (per 24x36)
Uses a 36” wide rollHp DesignJet 800– high quality photo paper = $10.00 (per 24x36)
Uses a 24” roll* All costs are based on one 24 x 36 paper. Any print larger than a 24x36 will be charged as two prints.
** Must be shown to studio representative and recorded in order to get this pricePayments
Member’s fees and due dates will be posted in each studio. If you fail to pay on time your account will be shut off and there is a $5 reactivation fee.
Payments will be made out to TPC by CHECK ONLY. Please include your student ID in the memo space of the check. Turn checks into your studio representative.
Bad Plots
Bad plots include
The plotter running out of ink, i.e. the colors fading or white streaks through drawings
The plotter cutting the drawing in the wrong place
Anything else relating to a plotter malfunctionYou cannot be reimbursed for
AutoCAD plots with the hatch left out or AutoCAD plots that only print text
Adobe plots that print too high or too low on the page, Adobe plots that print you plot onto several pagesThese problems can occur if you are using a pirated copy of the software or if you preferences are wrong. Please talk to your studio representatives if you have any questions.
